Information for new residents

Welcome to your new home in Jyrkkälä!

Here you can find information on practical matters and the services provided by the housing company.

The notification of change of address must be submitted to both the Jyrkkälänpolku office and the post office.

The new resident will receive 3 keys and one of them includes the host key rights. Extra keys can be ordered from the office for an additional safety deposit. If a key is lost or stolen, it must be reported to the office. If all the keys are not returned when moving out, the resident must pay for the change of locks.

It is possible to pay the rent and other payments by direct payment or e-invoicing. If you receive a housing supplement (does not apply to pension), direct payment is not possible.

The resident needs a separate electricity contract for the apartment. We recommend you to make the contract well in advance in order to have the apartment connected to electricity already on the moving day.

When moving in, be careful not to make the walls dirty or otherwise damage the apartment or the staircase.

The sauna can be booked from the office. One-time bookings are paid at the office upon booking. Regular bookings are billed every 3 months.

Parking spaces can be booked in the office by signing an annual contract with a notice period of 3 months.

The laundry room is located in the company’s service building.

Mon–Tue, Thu–Sun from 7:00 to 21:00
Wed from 12:00 to 21:00
The laundry room can be booked by marking your turn on the calendar in the laundry room, max. 3 h/machine. Follow the instructions. The laundry room can be accessed with and electric key that you can get from the office in exchange for a deposit.

Locked outdoor storage space can be rented for a motorcycle, a moped, a bicycle or car tires for a monthly fee. The contracts are signed at the office and the invoicing is every 3 months.

Storage space for baby carriages can be found in every house and a key can be redeemed from the office.

The cold cellars are located in houses LMN, QRS and Ä. Reservations at the office.

KOy Jyrkkälänpolku’s insurance policies do not replace property damage of residents. We recommend taking a home insurance of your own.
