Welcome to Jyrkkälä!

Jyrkkälä is a residential area close to nature in Turku with blocks of flats accommodating about 1,300 people.  It is located in a peaceful setting about five kilometres from the city centre and is part of the Pahaniemi district. The area has more than 600 rental apartments in 17 blocks of flats owned by KOy Jyrkkälänpolku. Jyrkkälä was built in 1968–1974, after which the buildings have been modernised and repaired systematically.

Green and pleasant

The park-like environment, peacefulness, good services and the sense of solidarity among the residents make living pleasant. There is hardly any vehicle traffic in the yards, and children always find something to do with other children in the common playgrounds. A dog park, fitness park and jogging paths are only a stone’s throw away.
